Amazon Reviewer Just John Gives Amongst My Enemies 5-Stars! and a “Wow!”
5-Stars! Wow, Read this book. It is exceptionally well done and exciting. The characters are believable and they get into crisis in spite of themselves. I enjoyed this.

5-Stars! and “Wow!’ for ‘The Undertaker’ from Amazon Reviewer Karen Dahood.
5-Stars! “Unexpected Charms! Wow! I read the Prologue and decided I wasn’t going to like this book. Then I read Chapter One and was hooked. I read Chapters Two and Three. I had to put it down and do other things, but took it up again at bedtime, waking in the morning to find I had left my light on and my Kindle still beside me … I especially liked the juxtaposition of familiar and weird details in the Chicago scenes … Brown’s originality peaks in his use of one of the most bizarre weapons you could imagine (‘bet you can’t). He writes a good romance, too, psychologically deep and yet amusing. The clever, kick-butt Sandy accompanies Pete all the way back to Boston, New York and D.C … Brown has a crazy imagination, but there are enough references to familiar landmarks in these cities that you will go along with him as the plot races toward a deadline.”

5-Stars and Great Review for ‘Amongst My Enemies’ from Amazon Reviewer Reder 70
5-Stars! “Involved and involving! This one had more twists and turns than many I have read recently. I always like a novel that adds historic information indirectly, as this one did about a part of WW II that I had not previously known. Interesting characters and unusual settings added to the enjoyment.”

Amongst My Enemies Gets 5-Stars from Kathy Martin’s Reviews
5-Stars! “Great Cold War Thriller! This was a very suspenseful, edge-of-your seat thriller about the closing days of World War II . . . The descriptions of their hardships were so realistic that I felt I was their with them . . . The story was exciting and engaging and really reminded me of some of the books written by Alistair MacLean that I read years ago. There was also a strong Tom Clancy feel in the machinations of the various spies (but without Clancy’s techno-jargon) and character who was an ordinary guy who needs to survive in a arena that is foreign to him. Mike was an interesting character – an ordinary man who goes to extra-ordinary ends to get what he feels is justice. If you are looking for a Cold War thriller, this one was very engaging.

5-Stars! for Amongst My Enemies from Crystal Book Reviews 1/6
5-Stars! “Redemption in the Good, Bad and Ugly Remnants of WWII! No, this is not just another war story! William Brown takes the reader to the heights and dregs of the human condition, giving glimpses to the motives and relationships that are ruled by head and heart, sometimes but not always balanced or whole . . . . This is a story that speeds along like a Ken Follett or Eric Ludlum novel of old. For those who love adventure, thrills, and mystery with a tinge of romance, this novel will leave you breathless and wanting more from this skillful writer. Splendidly written!

5-Stars for Amongst My Enemies from Reader’s Favorites
5-Stars! “William F. Brown captures the ambience of the era. He breathed life in the characters. The plot is an exciting adventure- thriller. Brown skillfully weaves the threads of the story together creating a tapestry that tells the story of Michael and the contains of the missing U-Boat. I love books that draw you into the scenes so tightly that you feel as if you are there yourself. The author has done an excellent job of researching down to the ‘nth degree of detail. Readers will not feel that anything has been left out in this tale of war, greed, espionage, and real cold war concerns from the past..it is that believable! This is an excellent read and I am honored to have been given the opportunity to review it.

4-Stars! for Undertaker from Crazy 4 Books 12/24
4-Stars! “Couldn’t put it down!! The Undertaker is a suspenseful on the edge of your seat novel. I found myself reading whenever I had a free moment. When I was at a red light I had my phone out and was reading The Undertaker while I waited for the green light. I think you can say I was hooked from the beginning . . . Mr. Brown does a fantastic job of keeping you guessing as to who is really the good guy until the very end. He keeps your eyes glued to the pages and your heart racing till the climatic end . . . I will be looking at more works written by him.

1st Review for ‘Amongst My Enemies’ – 5-Stars!
5-Stars! “A Highly Entertaining and Nail-Biting Read! I’d forgotten how much I could enjoy a good story, even if it is about subjects I don’t usually read. And “Amongst My Enemies” is one good, nail biting story . . . Brown has done an enormous amount of research in writing this novel, from the details of a U-boat interior and the fishing industry in Sweden to Nazi politics and legends and underwater salvage operations. The novel is a fast, exciting read – the author excels at keeping the reader both gasping for air and reading on . . . I still may not be a fan of World War II and espionage novels, but I am becoming a fan of William Brown. “Amongst My Enemies” is a highly entertaining novel.
