‘Thursday at Noon’ suspense novel – “You can’t put it down,” Donald Wiant, Amazon Reviewer
5-Stars! “A book you cannot put down! I have to admit that I purchased this book primarily based on price. Frankly, I did not expect much but the book summary seemed interesting. I like reading WW II stories and always like U-boat adventures. As I began reading Amongst My Enemies, it quickly became apparent that I had downloaded a “winner” and soon could not resist picking up my iPad every chance I could find. The book rates 5 stars for the interest it generated for me and the enjoyment over several days.

“An enjoyable espionage tale,” and 5-Stars for ‘Thursday at Noon’ from Amazon Reviewer
5-Stars! “An enjoyable espionage tale.” I’ve enjoyed reading William Brown’s novels in the past, and I welcomed the chance to read and review Thursday at Noon. It’s an interesting espionage tale set back in the 60′s, when the Middle East and Egypt were in turmoil. Of course, that could just as well be said for now. Some things never change … Thursday at Noon was a fun read that I’d definitely recommend to people who like the spy genre. Brown creates a strong sense of time and place, and the characters have depth and complexity. The plot pacing works well, and I kept thinking “just one more chapter” as I was reading (knowing I had other things I should be doing). I’m definitely looking forward to his next novel…

5-Stars! Wow, Read this book. It is exceptionally well done and exciting. The characters are believable and they get into crisis in spite of themselves. I enjoyed this.

5-Stars! and “Wow!’ for ‘The Undertaker’ from Amazon Reviewer Karen Dahood.
5-Stars! “Unexpected Charms! Wow! I read the Prologue and decided I wasn’t going to like this book. Then I read Chapter One and was hooked. I read Chapters Two and Three. I had to put it down and do other things, but took it up again at bedtime, waking in the morning to find I had left my light on and my Kindle still beside me … I especially liked the juxtaposition of familiar and weird details in the Chicago scenes … Brown’s originality peaks in his use of one of the most bizarre weapons you could imagine (‘bet you can’t). He writes a good romance, too, psychologically deep and yet amusing. The clever, kick-butt Sandy accompanies Pete all the way back to Boston, New York and D.C … Brown has a crazy imagination, but there are enough references to familiar landmarks in these cities that you will go along with him as the plot races toward a deadline.”

5-Stars and Great Review for ‘Amongst My Enemies’ from Amazon Reviewer Reder 70
5-Stars! “Involved and involving! This one had more twists and turns than many I have read recently. I always like a novel that adds historic information indirectly, as this one did about a part of WW II that I had not previously known. Interesting characters and unusual settings added to the enjoyment.”

19th Five-Stars Review for Amongst My Enemies from Amazon Reviewers
5-Stars! “It pulled me right into the story. I felt like a member of my own family was part of the story. Gripping and tense all the way to the end. I’d recommend it to anyone who likes mysteries, or historical fiction. Very believable.
